The Red Wheelbarrow

10 Sep

Today was one of those generic days that crop up at least twice during any given month. It’s one of those days that is easily forgotten, given that there is not one memorable moment within it. It was just a blur of my usual routine. So, instead of boring all of you with a run down of the mundane, I will instead excite you with a classic poem; one of my favorites:

The Red Wheelbarrow

by William Carlos Williams

so much depends
upon

a red wheel
barrow

glazed with rain
water

beside the white
chickens.
